Expertise that wins cases and builds success
I help attorneys win real estate disputes and business owners deliver complex construction projects successfully. With over 20 years bridging architecture, development, and finance, I bring field-tested credibility to high-stakes situations, whether that's providing expert testimony in eminent domain cases or protecting a business owner from costly construction mistakes.

Built on the bedrock of professional integrity
My path to consulting wasn't linear, it was built through decades of hands-on experience in architecture, development, and real estate finance.
I started as a registered architect, learning how buildings actually work. Not just the aesthetic vision, but the technical reality: structural systems, MEP coordination, code compliance, constructability. That foundation gave me the ability to read drawings, understand design implications, and speak credibly about what's possible versus what's theoretical.
But architecture alone didn't answer the questions that mattered most in development: Does this project pencil? What's the highest and best use? How do we structure the deal? So I pursued an MBA with a specialization in Real Estate Finance. That education taught me pro forma modeling, valuation methodology, capital markets, and how to analyze whether a project makes financial sense before breaking ground.
Then I spent two decades putting both disciplines into practice. I've led the development of hundreds and hundreds of residential units and hundreds of thousands of square feet of commercial space. I've worked with lenders, municipalities, contractors, and design teams to deliver projects on-time and on-budget. I've navigated zoning battles, construction disputes, financing challenges, and market volatility.
That combination, architecture's technical precision, finance's analytical rigor, and development's real-world execution, is rare. It's also exactly what's needed in two specific situations:
When attorneys need expert testimony that can withstand cross-examination in real estate disputes, they need someone who understands valuation methodology, development feasibility, and industry standards, and can explain it clearly to judges and juries.
When business owners face complex construction projects without in-house expertise, they need someone who's already made the mistakes, knows where problems hide, and can protect their investment through independent oversight.
That's what DeVore Consulting provides: hard-won expertise at the intersection of architecture, finance, and development, applied to the moments when real estate stakes are highest.

TRILINGUAL FLUENCY
Why The Combination Matters
Most consultants bring one discipline. Architects understand buildings. Financial analysts understand numbers. Developers understand execution. I bring all three, and that combination is what makes complex real estate challenges solvable.
Architecture
Registered architect with deep knowledge of building systems, construction processes, code compliance, and design implications. I can read structural drawings, understand MEP coordination, evaluate constructability, and speak credibly about industry standards. When opposing counsel questions technical methodology or contractors claim something can't be built, I have the professional credentials and field experience to respond authoritatively.
Finance
MBA in Real Estate Finance with expertise in valuation methodology, pro forma modeling, feasibility analysis, and capital markets. I understand how deals are structured, how properties are valued, what lenders require, and how to model economic impacts quantitatively. This financial sophistication is what separates defensible expert testimony from subjective opinion, and what protects business owners from projects that don't pencil.
Real-World Experience
20+ years actually delivering projects, hundreds and hundreds of units, millions of square feet, dozens of lenders, hundreds of contractors and consultants. I've navigated the challenges you're facing: cost overruns, schedule delays, contractor disputes, municipal approvals, market shifts, financing complications. That experience informs everything I do. My advice isn't theoretical, it's what I've learned works in the real world, under real constraints, with real money at stake.
